JT Bowen was my neighbor and he loved bowling. I remember when he bowled a perfect game and brought home a big trophy. He also loved playing pool. His wife won a pool table for their family from the Queen for a Day TV program by sending a question to the show. JT made extra money for his family by playing pool in the Gastonia area, and he worked the third shift in order to make more money to support his family.
