High Shoals Baptist Attend Ridgecrest Training

The Town Crier, July 31, 1953

The members of the High Shoals Baptist Church Training Union recently enjoyed a week of fun,
fellowship and study at the Ridgecrest Baptist Assembly at Ridgecrest, NC. This week was the
first of Training Union Leadership Week.

Those who attended are shown above, left to right, Rev. Jack Bagwell, Myrle Simpson, Marianne
Carpenter, Elaine McCrary, Shirley Rice, Sandra Caskey, Janice Shelton, Joyce High, Mrs.
Ethal High, and Mrs. J.T. Smith.

Mrs. Ethal Keener also accompanied the group and served them delicious meals each day.
