Ingleside Slave House Digging

John Fulenwider of High Shoals had iron interest in the area of southeast Lincoln county during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Ingleside, off Highway 73 in Lincoln county was built by Daniel M. Forney about 1817 (he built his home on his father's land (General Peter Forney). The Lincoln County Historical Assoc. allowed me to help them with sample digs at one of the slave houses on 10/22/2010.
