Shirley Drum's Korean years. 1951-54

Even though Shirley isn't from High Shoals, he and his family have serviced the people from the area since 1937. I have been working on the history of the Drum family and thought you might like to see this little bit of his history.
Shirley Drum grew up in Lincolnton, NC, his family owned and operated Drums Funeral Home and Drums Floist. His parents were Elliot and Alta Drum.
He spent his Air Force years in Japan. After his discharge he came back to Lincolnton and married Gwendolyn Harmanand had two daughters, Cindy and Rhonda. He continued in the family business until he retired in 1994. Thanks to Shirley to allow us to post these pictures.
