The Rev. Floyd William Finch, Jr., of Arden is the new minister at St. John's Epecopal Church in High Shoals.
Rev. Finch attended the Berea College in Berea, Ky., and the Protestant Episcopal Seminary in Alexandria, Va. This is his first charge since leaving the Seminary and he will minister at St. Andrew's in Bessemer City, N.C. also, and is making his home in Bessemer City.
Services are held at St. John's each Sunday evening at 7:30. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. Rev. Finch plans to do quite a bit of visiting in and around our community.
