Carolinian Mills, first Christmas Float 1949

Things were really buzzing around Carolinian a couple weeks ago. Everyone was quite busy as well as excited. The cause of the commotion was the beautiful float pictured above which participated in the Lincolnton County parade.
Carolinian was quite proud of the float and they deserved to be. This was the first time a project of this sort had been undertaken by the organization.
Neal Hawkins Transfer Company of Gastonia very graciously furnished the truck upon which the float was built.
